Roundabout center of the page, you may notice an Amazon search bar, and you might also wonder why this item exists.
Well, the answer is simple, while the games I buy to review for The Budget Gamer are cheap, usually between $5 and $10 each, my gaming budget isn't exactly great, and I still also look to buy games I'm going to enjoy (silly idea I know). Even just games for the Blog though, would add up fast, $5/week=$260/year on games to review!
So, I signed up with Amazon Associates, and made 2 minor modifications to my Blog:
1) A rather unobtrusive Amazon search bar, any product you search for from there, will be under my Associate ID, thus giving me a percentage of the sale price if you buy it.
2) Any game which can be purchased from Amazon (and doesn't cost an arm and a leg because it's a collectors item) has had it's Amazon link modified to apply my Associate ID.
So, if you feel like supporting my gaming and blogging habit, please consider making your Amazon purchases through my Blog. It won't cost you any extra, and a cut of the sales goes to someone who isn't a soul-sucking corporation. ;)
